Wine e-label comparison: regulatory compliance beyond your labels

Five electronic label solutions compared on their public prices, sorting instructions, GS1 Digital Link, and data reuse. Because regulatory information is product information: vin.co, a PIM/DAM specialized in wines and spirits, manages it with your product sheets and also publishes it on your website, your technical data sheets, and with your distributors.

Which solution fits your situation?

One e-label is enough

  • You publish only the ingredients, nutrition information and, if needed, sorting instructions.
  • Your range is small and changes little from one vintage to the next.
  • Only one person manages the labels.
  • You don’t need to reuse this data elsewhere.

Start with elabelVin.co, our dedicated e-label offering, from €149 excl. VAT / year. You can switch to vin.co when your needs evolve. Discover elabelVin.co →

Your data is used beyond the label

  • You manage multiple brands or a large catalog.
  • You export and produce content in multiple languages.
  • Your product data comes from your ERP and needs to be enriched before being published.
  • You feed an e-commerce site, technical data sheets and your distributors with the same information.
  • You are a cooperative or a wine merchant with multiple contributing teams.

vin.co manages the e-label with Compliance Suite and publishes the same data across all your channels. See Compliance Suite →

Frequently asked questions

Public prices range from free offers limited in volume or duration to around €1,500 excl. The ERP (management software) runs the business: inventory, batches, orders, invoicing. The PIM manages the product information to be published: descriptions, technical and regulatory data, translations and media. The two complement each other: the PIM takes data from the ERP and distributes it to the electronic label, the website, the product sheets and to distributors. See the PIM comparison →

Yes. Nutri QR Code, Nutri Embed Code and vin.co TRI are activated separately, with no plan required, including if your catalogue is managed in another tool. See Compliance Suite →

Not always: the printed QR code most often points to the provider’s domain. The simplest approach is to keep the existing codes active with the former provider, then create the new cuvées and new vintages in the new solution.

No. Since December 8, 2023, the list of ingredients and the nutrition declaration are mandatory for the wines concerned; they may appear on the label or on an electronic label accessible via QR code, with the energy value and allergens remaining on the physical label.
